Purple anodized Speedloader for K6S
Ordered three of the D6 speedloaders for a K6S. Was originally using a Zetastrip to carry it with me but decided to try a loader instead. Opted for 5Star as the aluminum is more durable and is overall visually appealing over an HKS. Decided on purple just because. Got them in last week and they were, generally, working well. Noticed that some spots weren't fully covered by the anodizing:the 'nose' part between the rounds still needed a bit more time along with the inner chambers. Unfortunately, one speedloader was clearly a lighter purple and had even more silver-ish exposed at the nose. Contacted 5 star and they quickly emailed me back. A replacement is on the way. They noted that the coloring might be slightly different than the ones I received. Told them that a darker version would be fine and it was noted for their technicians.

D6-357/38 Speed loader
These spppeloaders are the best I have ever used for my Colt Detective Special, 3rd Gen. These give plenty of space to load rounds, given the tight space in which to work. HKS just doesn't cut it. I highly recommend these excellent speed loaders!

Very well made, the work as the should and at a fair price. I like the direction which they are deployed being opposite HKS. It took a bit to get used to, but it is actually a better way. Excellent craftsmanship. Durable. Easy to insert shells into chambers of cylinder and then a quick twist releases them from the loader. Delivery was much faster than anticipated. My blue colored loader was shipped within 2 days and arrived a few days later. A professional company to deal with. I'm going to order a second one.

Having Kimber revolvers chambered in both 357 and 38 it's nice to have color options to reduce confusion as to which is which in a grab-and-go situation. I also like that the load and release is a more intuitive right-is-tight and left-is-loose.
