Best EDC
Best speed loader out of all of them that I’ve used. I’ve been using speed loaders for a very long time. Especially for the every day carrier. These are very well suited. Very durable reliable. No springs to go bad no plastic to break.

speedloaders, various sizes
For years, I used and carried HKS speedloaders, but that was when a K frame S&W was pretty much the standard for police. Lately, I found the HKS brand just didn't work. They're sized wrong for specific applications, or maybe they just went to some one-size-fits-all thing. I started using 5 Star, and have not yet had a single issue. I have 4 different frame sizes for S&W, also including 5 round, 6 round and 7 round configurations. I have yet to have one not fit perfectly. The 5 Star loaders are metal, well made and worth the slightly higher price. Recommended

As with the D6 I recently reviewed, they are beautifully made with great attention to detail. The black anodizing is excellent. The release is in the right direction away from the weapon. I wish the rounds were a bit tighter in the loader facilitating a smoother/easier reload. Hence a 4 rather than a 5 star rating.
