Star loaders
I own at least 15, 5 Star Speed Loaders, As far as I'm concerned they are some of the best, if not the best I've ever used and I've used a lot of loaders during my 33 years as a LEO .

it's well made and attractive. lining up the rounds into the cylinder can be a problem as the rounds jiggle a bit. once aligned, loading is quick though.

It took about 7 weeks from time of order until these were delivered - within the time frame articulated on the website due to anodizing. At first these looked more blue than the purple we ordered. Once out from under led lighting, they are definitely purple. Very satisfied.

K6 Speedloaders
I am very impressed with the quality and overall fit and finish. Although a departure from the norm (HKS) in that they release in the opposite direction, I think that feature too is a plus. The only reason the rating is not five (5) +, is that the S/L were ordered for a new model Colt King Cobra (2019). When ordering via telephone I made that clear several times, however I was informed that the correct S/L was a K6. I instructed that the new King Cobra and the Cobra should use the same S/L and that the old King Cobra as well as the Trooper, Peacemaker etc. would be approximately K frame sized. I trusted the seller (reluctantly) to know their product and placed the order. Upon arrival the S/L did not fit. The cylinder would not spin with it inserted and that was with 38 Spl., 357 mag would be worse. I am keeping the S/L for my S&W K-Frames, as I like them, but I really needed S/L’s for the Colt.

Speed Loader
A few years ago, I used your 5 round speed loader on my former Ruger SP101 with great success. However, I now have your 6 round speed loader for my new Rock Island Armory M206 38 Special revolver. The disappointment is that with just 3 reloads the speed loader has literally scratched off the parkerized finish right below the cylinder release. I will have to stop using your speed loader and reload with either speed strips or round by round. I wish I had known how the aluminum would immediately ruin parkerizing. Thanks for listening.
