Works with new S&W 617 Mountain Gun
This speed loader works with the new S&W 617 Mountain Gun, which has Tyler Gun Works walnut Bear Hug grips. Tried 4 different brands of 22LR (about 400 rounds) so far. The rounds do not seat all the way down like they do in the S&W .357 revolvers, but this is not the fault of the speed loader. You have to take your thumb and seat all 10 rounds because the chambers are extremely tight on this gun. Still very fast compared to loading individual rounds at the range....just wish the charge holes were slightly larger in diameter. But you're not going to carry a 22LR as an EDC anyway :-)
